The Litigation Secretary will play an essential role in supporting multiple attorneys across high-volume, high-stakes cases. This position requires strong document production skills, deep familiarity with litigation workflows, and the ability to stay organized under tight deadlines.
This is a full-time, fully onsite position - ideal for someone who enjoys being in-office, working closely with attorneys, and contributing to a team-centered environment.
Draft, format, proofread, and finalize legal documents (correspondence, briefs, pleadings, TOAs, TOCs, discovery, etc.)
Manage multiple attorney calendars, including hearings, depositions, client meetings, and case deadlines
Prepare and submit State and Federal e-filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with court rules
Organize, maintain, and update client files for easy access and smooth workflow
Handle expense reports, check requests, and other administrative financial tasks
Coordinate meetings, depositions, and all related logistics
Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members
Support case flow by managing deadlines, following up on outstanding tasks, and assisting attorneys as needed
Utilize document management systems (NetDocs experience preferred but not required)
5+ years of Litigation Secretary experience in a law firm environment
Advanced MS Word skills and strong legal document production experience
Proficiency with State and Federal e-filing procedures
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask
Experience managing multiple attorney calendars
Familiarity with document management systems (NetDocs or similar)
Exceptional attention to detail, grammar, and proofreading
Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a team
High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
High School Diploma required; some college or paralegal coursework a plus
$45-$55/hour (DOE)
